A number of our club players have enjoyed success with their secondary schools in recent weeks.

Gearóid Larkin, Brian Doughan and James Doughan all lined out in the backline for Borrisokane Community College who beat Causeway by 3-19 to 2-9 in the Munster Vocational Schools First Year ‘A’ hurling final.

Adam Hogan won a Munster Corn Solo U15 colleges hurling medal with St Joseph’s College Borrisoleigh when they beat St. Declan’s Kilmacthomas 2-13 to 1-12 in the final after extra time.

And in Coláiste Phobal Roscrea, Eoin Greene was recently named as senior hurler of the year, while in camogie Mairead Teehan was named as overall player of the year and Stephanie Kenny junior player of the year.

Congratulations to all on these fine achievements.
