Our senior hurlers beat Portroe by 3-10 to 0-17 in the Hogan Cup semi final last Saturday afternoon in Portroe.  This was a close and hard-fought game from start to finish.  Moneygall led at half time by 2-5 to 0-9, the goals coming from Ger Kirwan and a Willie Greene 20m free.  Portroe got in front in the second half and led by a point late on, before a last minute goal from Paddy Fanning turned out to be the match winner.  We will now play Kilruane MacDonaghs in the final this Sunday following their victory over Templederry by 2-15 to 1-13 in the other semi final.
