U-14 Championship:

The first round of the north U14 A hurling championship has been deferred by one week until Wednesday 6th June.  Moneygall will now begin the campaign against Nenagh Eire Og.  This match will be played in Nenagh next Wednesday evening at 7pm.

We will then play Kilruane MacDonaghs, Toomevara, Roscrea and Newport on consecutive Wednesday evenings.

Peadar Cummins Tournament:

Well done to Brian Doughan, Adam Hogan and Dylan Maher who all played for North Tipperary in the Peadar Cummins U14 Tournament last Saturday in Borrisoleigh.  North Tipp lost to South Tipp by 1-6 to 0-7 in the semi final.  North Tipp then played West Tipp in the shield final and won by 3-15 to 4-5.

Premier 12s:

Our Under 12s will soon have their first outing in the Premier 12s competition - a date for our first fixture will appear on the website when known.  We will play in Group 3 where we will have matches against Lorrha, Ballinahinch, Portroe and Templederry.

Primary Schools:

Hard luck to Dunkerrin N.S. who were beaten by Puckane N.S. by 4-5 to 3-5 after extra time in the North Tipperary Cumann na mBunscoil Roinn C Hurling Final on Wednesday last in Nenagh.  The teams were level at full time (Dunkerrin 2-5 Puckane 3-2) before Puckane outscored Dunkerrin by 1-3 to 1-0 in extra time to win by a goal.
