Junior: Our junior hurlers will play Burgess in the north semi final this Saturday evening in Toomevara.  Throw-in time has been fixed for 5.30pm.

Minor: Hard luck to Clonakenny/Moneygall who were beaten by Drom-Inch by 2-9 to 0-6 in the Mid Minor B football final last Wednesday in Killea.  In the hurling championship we have completed our group matches with 5 wins from 6 games.  There are five other group fixtures yet to be played before the line-up for the knockout stages will be known.

Under 16:
The hurlers of Clonakenny/Moneygall will play Loughmore Castleiney in the mid semi final on Tuesday evening in Templemore.  Throw-in time is fixed for 6.30pm.  The result of this match will appear on this website when known.

Under 14:
Our Under 14 hurlers played their last match of the plate competition last Wednesday evening when we were beaten by Toomevara in St Flannan's Park.

Juvenile News: We played three matches in an Under 10 Blitz on Saturday last in Thurles, winning two games with all 12 players enjoying the day.  The last round of our U8 & U10 club league is due to be played on Thursday 20th.  With just two points separating all 5 teams it is all to play for.  The dates for the semi finals and final will be fixed thereafter.  Best of luck to all teams in the closing stages of the league

Kilmacud 7s: A panel of ten players travelled to Dublin last Saturday to take part in the All-Ireland Hurling Sevens Competition.  Victories over two Dublin clubs St. Vincents and Kilmacud Crokes in UCD meant we topped our group.  We bowed out at the quarter final stage when we were beaten by Mullagh of Galway who would go on to win the final.  The panel who competed on the day was Eoghan Ryan, Pajo Troy (captain), Mike Ryan, Phil Fanning, Brendan Toohey, Ger Ryan, Willie Greene, Michael Bergin, Ger Kirwan, Conor Ryan.

Dinner Dance: The club will hold a dinner dance on Friday 9th November in The Thatched Cottage in Ballycommon.  Tickets will be on sale soon and further information will follow in the coming weeks.

Family Fun Day: Congratulations to Pajo Troy of Cullenwaine who was the winner of the All-Ireland Weekend Draw held on the recent Family Fun Day.  Pajo won a pair of All-Ireland Hurling Final tickets and a night’s hotel accommodation in Dublin
