Moneygall and Portroe finished level in their North Championship Group 3 clash in Dolla last Sunday afternoon.  Portroe began with wind advantage but Moneygall started well with two points from play from Willie Greene.  Portroe responded with a goal to take the lead for the first time.  From thereon there was never much between the teams on the scoreboard for the remainder of the half.  Points from Mike Ryan, Willie Greene and Padhraic Greene gave Moneygall a one-point half time lead, 0-10 to 1-6.

Portroe edged in front 1-8 to 0-10 as the opening stages of the second half were interrupted by many stoppages.  Moneygall failed to score for almost 20 minutes of the half, and entering the closing stages Portroe had a 1-13 to 0-12 lead.  Then a run of five points without reply from Eoghan Ryan, Michael Bergin, Willie Greene, Jody Troy and Ger Kirwan put Moneygall in front in injury time, before a pointed free with the last puck of the game gave Portroe a draw.

Moneygall now play Kildangan in our final group match this Sunday evening, needing to win to stay in contention for a quarter final place.
