U21: Moneygall/C'kenny 2-24 Shannon Rs Gaels 4-16 (A.E.T.)

Moneygall/Clonakenny beat Shannon Rovers Gaels by 2-24 to 4-16 after extra time in the first round of the North U21 B championship in Cloughjordan on Saturday 5th October. 

We led at half time by 0-10 to 1-5 and had two second half goals from John Joe Ryan and Ciaran Quinlan, but it took a pointed 65 from Brendan Toohey with two minutes left to level the match, 2-15 to 3-12.  Towards the end of extra time we had pushed three points ahead before Shannon Rovers Gaels equalised again with their fourth goal.  The match was won with injury time points from Anthony Devereux and Willie Costigan.
