Moneygall/Clonakenny
beat Templederry by 6-16 to 2-14 in the quarter final of the North U21 B
hurling championship last Saturday afternoon in Toomevara. Playing against the wind in the first half,
Bobby Bergin’s early goal helped Moneygall/Clonakenny build up a 1-11 to 0-10
lead by half time.
In the second half the teams shared seven goals, with Ciarán Quinlan scoring three for Moneygall/Clonakenny and Brian Teehan and John Joe Ryan also finding the net, to leave the final scoreline at 6-16 to 2-14.
