 Further events are planned for later in the year. On Saturday 12th September, evening Mass in Dunkerrin will be celebrated for deceased team mates, mentors, club members and relatives. This will be followed by a social night in Ollie’s Bar. The culmination of the celebrations will be an overnight trip to the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill, from Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th October, which will include a private group dinner on the evening of Wednesday 7th. €120 per person sharing, including 2 nights B&B and group dinner. OR €150 per person for a single room, including 2 nights B&B and group dinner. A provisional booking has been made and arrangements have been agreed with the hotel. A booking deposit of €50 per room can be paid to either Pat Sheedy or Seamus Ryan, joint treasurers. We would like everybody to pay the deposit as soon as you can, so that a booking deposit can be paid to the hotel and give them an early indication of numbers and rooms required. The balance of the cost is to be paid on check-out from the hotel. We hope you will all be able to participate fully in the reunion events and that you will also encourage your friends to join with us. We are certainly looking forward to meeting up with you all again. |
