Under 16: A combined Clonakenny/Moneygall team took part in the Harry Ryan Memorial U16A Tournament in Moycarkey last Saturday afternoon.  We played 3 round robin games, beating Gortnahoe by 3 points in the first game, then winning against Moycarkey by 2 points, and then beating Mullinahone, also by 2 points.
We then took on Gortnahoe again in the final, winning by 3-9 to 2-6.  Diarmuid Ryan (Clonakenny) was named player of the tournament.  Congratulations to all the players and mentors.

Under 13: Moneygall/Templederry beat Portroe by 3-5 to 0-1 in Round 2 of the North U13 Plate, played in St Flannan's Park on Friday evening last.  Our next match will be against Burgess this Friday evening at 6.30pm, also in Moneygall.

Under 11: Our U11 hurlers attended the Harrington Cup in Templederry last Saturday.  We beat Templederry in the first game with a fine team performance.  We then took on a very strong Silvermines team, who beat Upperchurch in the other semi-final.  Silvermines took an early lead and while Moneygall rallied and put in a fine second half performance, Silvermines ran out victors.

Under 8: Also last Saturday our U8s attended a hurling and football blitz in Newport.  We played two games of football and one game of hurling, and performed very well on the day winning all three games.

Parish League: Round 3 of our Under 8/10 Parish League was played last Wednesday evening.  The league continues this Wednesday at 6.30pm.

Nursery Group: Our Under 6 Nursery Group ended their year on Wednesday evening with a very entertaining blitz.  Thanks to all those involved and thanks to the 45 children in the Nursery who made the year so enjoyable.
