Cúl Camp: A reminder that places on this year’s Cúl Camp need to be booked online at - please book as soon as possible to ensure your child’s playing kit will be available at start of the week.
The camp will run from Monday 24th to Friday 28th July. Registration will cost €60 for one child, €50 for a second child and €40 for any third or subsequent child. As usual each child will receive a playing kit and gear bag. The Camp is open to children who have completed one year in primary school, up to 13 years of age.

Intermediate: Moneygall will play Roscrea in the quarter final of the north championship this Sunday evening. This match is fixed for 7pm in Toomevara.

Junior: We will have a bye in round one of the north junior B hurling championship. Our group matches will be against Roscrea, Ballinahinch, Lorrha and Silvermines.

Minor: The hurling championship is due to resume on Thursday 13th July, when Moneygall/Clonakenny host Templederry/Ballinahinch in round three.

Under 16: We contested the Jim Moloughney Tournament last Saturday week. We beat Loughmore Castleiney in our first match and then lost to Borris-Ileigh. In our last match we were beaten by JK Brackens by a point. Congrats to Borris-Ileigh who were the winners of the Jim Moloughney Cup. 
Last Saturday we played a very competitive challenge match against Emeralds. In the north championship our scheduled match against Ballina has been postponed, so our first game will now be against Silvermines on Monday 17th July in Dolla.

Under 14: Our U14s were due to play Templederry/Ballinahinch on Monday night, and we will also play Kiladangan on Wednesday in St Flannan’s Park – see Match Results section for details.

Under 12: Hard luck to our U12s who put in a great second half performance against Roscrea last Friday. Roscrea won by 6-5 to 5-1. Our next match is away to Borris-Ileigh this Friday at 7pm.

Under 8: Well done to our U8 footballers who played so well in a blitz in Newport last Saturday. Portroe and Nenagh also took part. Thanks to all in Newport for hosting the blitz and for the hospitality afterwards.

Under 6: Our U6s took part in a hurling blitz in Cloughjordan last Wednesday. Our team played very well and provided great entertainment. Thanks to Kilruane for the invitation.

Tipperary GAA Monthly Draw: Congratulations to Noel and Kathleen Doughan, and also to Caroline Moten, who each won €500 in the June draw last Friday night.

Lotto: Our jackpot has now reached €3500. You can buy your tickets for just €2 each through the Club Lotto section of our website. Many thanks to all our lotto players and promoters for your continued support.

Black & Reds: Honeymount Cup first round draw – F. Jones v P. Sheedy, P. Ryan v D. Maher, P. O’Brien v P. Byrne, G. Kelly v K. Maher, N. Whyte v W. Greene, P. Bergin v A. Larkin, JJ Hogan v T. Hassett, M. Ryan v T. Byrne. First round matches to be played by 31st July, quarter finals by 31st August, semi finals and final by 30th September. The cup will be presented at the Thurles outing on 30th September.
