Senior: Best of luck to the senior hurling panel and management team who begin their county championship campaign against Carrick Swans on Sunday afternoon in Golden (please note change of venue). Throw-in time is fixed for 2pm.

Junior: A new draw was made last week for the North Junior B League and we have been drawn in a group with Ballinahinch, Newport, Borris-Ileigh and Nenagh Eire Og. Our first match was due to be played on Sunday last, but was postponed.

Under 21: Hard luck to the Moneygall/Clonakenny team who were beaten by Shannon Rovers Gaels in the North U21B Final in Borrisokane last Saturday evening. Best of luck to Shannon Rovers Gaels in the county series.

Minor: We played Newport on Wednesday last in the second round of the football championship in Newport. We started slowly and Newport led 1-5 to 0-3 at half time. We played much better in the second half but Newport had too many scoring forwards. Goalkeeper Joe Fogarty came out the field to score a great goal, but Newport ran out winners by 1-12 to 1-6. We are due to play Kildangan in our next match on Wednesday in St Flannan’s Park at 7pm.

Under 16: We were beaten by Burgess by 3-7 to 1-9 in the football championship on Monday 4th. Our next fixture will be away to Borrisokane next Monday evening.

Féile na nGael Draw: The Féile na nGael U14 Hurling Tournament will run from June 17th to 19th this year, and Moneygall/Clonakenny will host the Monaghan champions in Division 7. We will also play Loughmore Castleiney and a team from Cork in our group matches.

Under 14: We were due to play Lorrha/Rovers in our first football match on Tuesday evening. Our next match is scheduled to be away to Portroe on Wednesday 13th. We will also play Newport in the group stages.

Under 12: We were beaten by Ballina by 3-3 to 2-1 in the D Championship last Friday evening. We have completed all our group games in both the B and D Championships, with both of our teams recording three wins each. We are now awaiting the results of other matches before the quarter final line-ups will be known.

Cúl Camp: Please note the dates for this year’s Cúl Camp have been confirmed as Monday 25th to Friday 29th of July. Further details will be made known when available.
