Schools Visit: In advance of the Féile na nGael U14 Hurling Tournament in June, the children of Dunkerrin and Moneygall National Schools gathered together last Wednesday week for the visit of GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghaíl to our club. This was a memorable occasion for all who were in attendance and the President received a great welcome from the school children. Photos of this event can be seen on our club facebook page.

Schools Camogie: Hard luck to the Dunkerrin N.S. U13 camogie who put in a brave performance in their county final in Semple Stadium last week. The girls lost out to a stronger Ayle N.S. team.

Senior: The senior team exited the north championship after a heavy defeat to Burgess in Dolla on Sunday. The panel must now regroup and focus on the county relegation playoffs, which are being played on a round-robin basis this year.

Under 14: Our first match of the north championship ended in defeat against Lorrha/Shannon Rovers last week. We will host Carrickmacross from Monaghan in the Féile na nGael Tournament from 17th to 19th June.

Under 12: Both our U12 teams played Kilruane in our first championship matches last Friday evening in Cloughjordan. Kilruane were the winners in the B championship game, and Moneygall came out on top in the D match.

Lotto: Our jackpot has now reached €9650. You can buy your tickets for just €2 each through the Club Lotto section of our website. Next week’s draw will take place in Delaney’s Bar. Many thanks to all our lotto players and promoters for your continued support.
